The foam created in shampoos during
use is simply an aesthetic part of the product and is not necessary. The
ingredients that create this affect include Sodium Laureth Sulfate and Ammonium
Lauryl Sulfate, which are in turn produced using ethylene oxide and chlorosulphuric
acid. This process creates a by-product called 1,4-dioxane that causes cancer
in humans.
Natural shampoos leave out the foaming agents Sodium Laureth Sulfates and
Ammonium Lauryl Sulfate |
